Event Special Rules

This event features the It’s Turtle Time! emblem. All players begin each game with an emblem that grants the following effects:

• Mutant creatures you control have “Whenever this creature attacks, you gain 1 life.”

• Ninja spells and spells with sneak you cast cost less to cast.

• Turtle creatures you control enter the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter.

Pods may choose to opt out of the special emblem rules if every player in the pod agrees.

Draft Structure

Players draft in pods of four. Each player receives three Play Booster packs. During the draft, players select two cards from each booster before passing the rest.

Pack passing order:

• Pack 1: pass left

• Pack 2: pass right

• Pack 3: pass left

After drafting, players build a 40-card deck using their drafted cards plus any amount of basic lands.

Match Structure

Players compete in two rounds. The first round uses initial pairings. In round two, winners play winners and the remaining players face each other. Players who finish 2-0 earn the promo card in addition to their booster prizes.
